A First Birthday-Family Session

I had the honor of capturing this sweet family and their adorable little girl in celebration of her first birthday that is quickly approaching. I love adding a cake smash on to the end of a family session. That way we get to capture the whole family together during this precious milestone but also get to focus on the birthday baby in all their glory. Big brother was so very sweet and did amazingly well considering they are so close in age. We balanced smiling for the camera with snuggles, playing games, and exploring the environment. She loved her cake once she finally had that first taste and even brother got to enjoy a little too! The spring colors were so beautiful for this session and the light was just perfect. We thought it was going to be cold and dreary but we were so lucky with a beautiful evening at Queeny Park in St. Louis.
