Getting Started on Blogging for Photography

I guess this is where I start?

Hi all! To any of you that don't know me I am a family and couples photographer from outside of St. Louis in Wentzville, MO. I started taking professional photography more seriously about 5 years ago when we had our first child, my son Henry. I dove into learning about cameras, shooting, lighting, and the editing process and decided to make it official in January of 2020 (yes, THE year). I have grown a lot even in the last two years of starting my business but I am always looking for new learning opportunities. I just recently found out about a HUGE photography conference called Shutterfest that happens to take place in St. Louis of all places, every year, at the gorgeous Union Station. This was my first year attending and I can't even put a value on the variety and importance of the things that I learned. One of the most important things I learned about was SEO and helping to get your brand and website seen. From that course I learned that having a blog is a great way to add new content to your brand, connect with your client base, and show more of your work, so here we are. You can follow along with me as I continue to try out new things, shoot beautiful families, and share some of my favorite images of my own family.
